Jeonju: the hanok city

In depth·Jeonju

Streets of hanok in the old town, bibimbap in its home city, and Gyeonggijeon shrine: a day by KTX.

Jeonju, south of Seoul by KTX, has a great hanok village, the Gyeonggijeon shrine and a celebrated food culture: it is the home of Jeonju bibimbap (tour.jeonju.go.kr).

Getting there

KTX from Yongsan or Seoul Station to Jeonju.

KTX from Yongsan; stay a night in a hanok.

Our advice: stay overnight to see the village after the day visitors leave.
