Updated October 2026

Reporting a purchase

Foreign buyers report the acquisition of land or a home to the local authority within the period set by law; your lawyer or agent will file it.

Land-transaction permit zones

In designated zones, a purchase above a set size needs the district office’s permission before the contract is signed. Ask your agent for the current map before you make an offer.
